Overview
The training of the École Conte in fashion design, created in 1949, is one of the oldest in Paris. Through this curriculum, we offer a creative laboratory space that encourages contact, sharing, motivation and communication. You first integrate the basics of concept and trend, collection, fashion design, accessories, with the discovery of pattern making, molding, assembly and direct cutting techniques.
In the second year, you deepen your technique for the design of a mini collection of one to three accessorized silhouettes. In the final year, you assert your style and create a personal collection, from manufacturing to communication, displayed during the school’s annual fashion show.
Throughout the course, integration into the business world is encouraged with several mandatory internships, or even via a work-study program, in major companies or with designers.
