ABOUT CAP
The Citizens Archive of Pakistan (CAP) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to cultural and historical preservation operating in Karachi,
Lahore, and Islamabad, with wide outreach across Pakistan. We seek to educate the community, foster an awareness of our nation’s
history, and instill pride in Pakistani citizens about their heritage. We build and maintain one of the most robust digital archives about
Pakistan’s history, and are passionate about sharing Pakistan’s stories through educational outreach programs and various exhibitions,
festivals, and museums that are attended by hundreds of thousands of visitors. In 2018, CAP inaugurated, in partnership,Pakistan’s first
digitally interactive museum, the National History Museum (NHM), which it continues to curate and manage today.
